Since graduating with a Diploma of Distinction in Image and Fashion styling from Limperts Academy of Design in 2011, Mairéad has been developing her portfolio and working as a freelance fashion stylist and image consultant.
Her body of work consists of both personal and professional styling services; covering fashion editorial, personal styling (individuals & groups) and professional styling (industry professionals).
She has established herself as an emerging talent within the fashion styling industry in Ireland, creating unique and memorable editorial images for some of the country’s leading high street retailers such as Arnotts & Primark and Irish fashion designers including Fiona Mangan, Capulet & Montague, Roisin Gartland and Zoe Carol.
Her editorial work has been printed in national publications including the Irish Times, Examiner and the Sunday Business Post, featured in various online publications such as Institute Magazine, Tabitha, Flawless & MFI Magazine, as well as various blogs including Darren Kennedy’s Help My Style and What She Wears.
She was a finalist in the TV3 (Ireland AM) / Oasis nationwide competition to become Oasis’ Personal Stylist in 2011.
In October 2013 she was nominated and placed in the final 5 for Social & Personal Magazine’s ‘Ireland’s Next Top Fashion Stylist’ award, and in March 2014 Mairéad reached the final 3 in the category of Fashion Industry Creative at Kerry Fashion Week.
From 2014-2016 Mairéad was a regular contributor of fashion and style based articles, with her column My Favourite Things in local newspaper the Wicklow Voice.

In October 2015, Mairéad opened her 1st retail store, Smock Boutique, in the beautiful village of Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.
Smock is a new venture in fashion & personal styling in Enniskerry.
Offering exceptional customer service, in-depth fashion knowledge and personalised styling advice, Mairéad’s business has gone from strength to strength and Smock is fast becoming the go-to boutique for the style conscious shopper. As a self-confessed shopaholic with a healthy obsession for the fashion industry, Mairéad is completely dedicated to her clients’ wardrobe needs and is quickly becoming known for going that extra mile to help customers get the look they are after.
